A California State Fishing License is required for all anglers 16 years of age and older, when fishing in US waters. Fishing trips that target US waters include 1/2 Day Point Loma Kelp Bed Trips, 3/4 Day Trips that fish the waters off La Jolla, some Full Day Trips.
California Fish & Game regulations require that an angler "wear" his fishing license on the outside of his clothing while fishing.
1 Day License - $13.00

Mexican Sportfishing Permits are required for anglers of any age while in Mexican waters. Some trips include the Mexican Sportfishing License in the price of the ticket; some do not.
Mexican Sportfishing Permits are sold only for anglers on trips operated from H&M Landing. A different type of permit is required for private boaters and anglers planning to fish within Mexico.
Daily Fishing Permit - $15.00
2 Day Permit - $30.00
Excursion Permit for 3 Days or more - $73.00 plus $2.00 per day.
