2025 Season Update:

H&M Landing is recommending that all customers that are fishing with us this year need to make their fish processing reservations as soon as they book their fishing trip. If you do not have a reservation when you get back to the dock, we cannot guarantee the processors will be able to process your fish. Most boats will be prepared to fillet your fish for a fee, should you be unable to get a fish processing reservation. If you are unsure if your boat provides fillet service please call our office to confirm.

We have 3/4 day mexican water trips online. Starting February 1st we will be going to the Coronado islands or somewhere nearby every weekend!
We will be fishing everything shallow and deep.
Be prepared with 40lb for the possibility of a yellowtail and a deep water rod for rockcod and lingcod with lots of braid!
We will be in depths of 60-600 feet
Tackle recommendations
4-20oz sinkers
Yoyo jigs
1-4/0 j hooks

Our fleet is preparing for the 2025 season, and this beauty is ready to be hauled out! @oceanodysseysd

Early this week I watched as Ocean Odyssey departed for Ventura harbor to haul out. While there she will be getting some TLC and a bi-annual Coast Guard inspection.
After a few delays to the schedule that set us back a few days it was her turn in the chute. Watching your blood, sweat, and many tears, hanging by straps to be driven over concrete is beyond stressful. So many things can happen in those first few minutes as the boat is being lifted, and every single time it goes on straps l have to take deep breaths so I don’t vomit or pass out. Pictured Rick is getting some moral support from the crew.
With that being said, the haul out went perfectly and my girl is high and dry getting her spa treatment. We will keep you updated on the work we are doing as it comes along.~~Dina
