Getting Here & Stays
Directions: Located at 2803 Emerson St, San Diego, CA. If driving, take I-5 to Rosecrans St, and turn left on Emerson St.
Hotels: Point Loma and Shelter Island offer beautiful waterfront hotels just minutes from the docks. Ask for the H&M preferred rate when booking.
Parking: Three local lots are available for $14 per 24 hours (pre-paid by license plate). Entrances are on Scott St and N. Harbor Dr.
⚠️ Note: Do not park in the Point Loma Seafoods parking lot to avoid towing.
Gearing Up
Tackle: Leave the heavy gear at home. Our tackle shop is fully stocked, and our sales associates will advise you on the best rental setups for your specific trip.
Packing Essentials:
- Pack in a soft-sided duffel bag for easy stowing in galleys and bunks.
- Dress in layers. Cool mornings turn into warm afternoons.
- Bring a hat, polarized sunglasses, and 30+ SPF sunscreen.
- A valid picture I.D. (Driver’s License or Passport) is required. Passports are highly recommended for Mexican waters.
