Day At The Docks – April 19th!

Join us on April 19th to celebrate the largest outdoor sportfishing festival on the West Coast! Enjoy 150+ vendors, boat rides on the bay, free fishing for kids, and more! This morning our anglers had a good mix of bottom fish ! We recommend 16 to 20 oz sinkers 3/0 to 4/0 hooks we are fishing anywhere from 450 to 750 ft of water braided line is a must .

HOOK UP! The yellowtail wanna eat- let's feed em'. Make those reservations today! Capt. Tyler with @grandesportfish checked in with 18 Yellowtail for 13 anglers and still fishing! These are big beautiful fish!

Tomorrow’s trip has only 12 people booked and we are going for sure!
We are running trips all week and will run with 10 so don’t be afraid to make those reservations!

Please bring 40-50 pound yo-yo outfits, heavy yo-yo jigs and 30 pound flyline outfits with 2/0 j hooks. Now is also a great time to bring a long rod and some surface lures and practice your surface iron skills.

We are currently operating open party full day Coronado island trips seven days a week with departures at 5:30am and returning 6-7pm. Passport required.

Do yourself a favor if you're heading out fishing for tuna in the next few days,check out the tackle tips below from @horizoncharters
When you’re heading offshore for tuna, we recommend bringing 30–40 lb for flyline, 60–130 lb for sinker rigs or nighttime work, and a selection of 150 to 400 gram knife jigs so you’re ready for whatever shows.
