The 2025 Season Has Begun!

H&M Landing is recommending that all customers that are fishing with us this year need to make their fish processing reservations as soon as they book their fishing trip. If you do not have a reservation when you get back to the dock, we cannot guarantee the processors will be able to process your fish. Most boats will be prepared to fillet your fish for a fee, should you be unable to get a fish processing reservation. If you are unsure if your boat provides fillet service please call our office to confirm.

For Fisherman’s Processing Text your Name/Names, Return Date, and Boat Name to (619)-255-3128.
For Sportmen’s Seafood call 619-224-3551.

After returning yesterday from a tough 1.5 day trip, the guys have called in with limits of bluefin for the first day of a two day trip! As much as we wish we could have these results for every single group, the reality is that there is a reason it's called "fishing" and not "catching." And bluefin, especially, are never guaranteed. They keep us on our toes! So for today, we will take the pics, give the high fives, savor the moments, and hopefully do it all again tomorrow!

We knew the weather was going to be a challenge for bluefin Friday night, so we decided to catch some squid and try something a little different our first night. We were able to catch five White Seabass, a couple yellowtail, 26 Sheephead, 73 Whitefish, and 51 Calico Bass.
Conditions were much better the second night, and we had our chances. Despite a high number of casualties, we were able to boat 11 bluefin, several over 100lbs!
Our next trip is a 1.5 day trip departing tuesday night. We are running for sure, departing at 7pm. We have some two day trips coming up as well, before we jump into our summertime one day run!
