2026 Season is Here!

H&M Landing is recommending that all customers that are fishing with us this year need to make their fish processing reservations as soon as they book their fishing trip. If you do not have a reservation when you get back to the dock, we cannot guarantee the processors will be able to process your fish. Most boats will be prepared to fillet your fish for a fee, should you be unable to get a fish processing reservation. If you are unsure if your boat provides fillet service please call our office to confirm.

For Fisherman’s Processing Text your Name/Names, Return Date, and Boat Name to (619)-255-3128.

Want to fish Baja? @horizoncharters is fishing the Baja coast! They've got a 2 day trip on the books departing this Friday at 10AM for $680.00 including a Mexican visa and meals onboard. Your fishing license,beer soda and water are not included. The boat just wrapped up a 10 person charter and ended up with-

And just like that the first trip of the 2026 season is a wrap for @old_glory_sportfishing check out their report below-
•
We returned from our first trip of 2026 with a group of very happy anglers! We went south and found some great cod fishing. The lingcod were chewing and we put over 50 on the boat by noon. There was some sign of yellowtail and big bonito around to go with the reds, whitefish, and lings. We ended up keeping 7 big bonito and one nice yellowtail.

We are running this coming Friday night and if you're coming, be prepared for some good lingcod fishing and hopefully a better shot at the yellowtail. In the afternoon we ran offshore to see what we could find. We never saw a good kelp but we did see multiple spots of jumping bluefin tuna. Unfortunately it didn’t give us a shot at it.

The weather was beautiful and the fishing was great; we ended up with one yellowtail, seven bonito, 55 lingcod, 41 whitefish, and a bunch of reds and rockcod. Hopefully we can get an afternoon shot on the tuna this coming weekend. We depart H&M landing at 6 pm on Friday, February 6th. We hope to see you on the boat.
