Old Glory has 12 Bluefin on deck, and LOTS splashing around in the area. Captain Kley told us it’s good fishing for those who are properly equipped.

The Grande reported 68 Yellowtail & 11 Bonito today!
Old Glory returned with 9 Bluefin Tuna weighing in at 40 to 80 pounds.
Sea Adventure 80 departs at 6 PM on 1-1/2 Day trip (only a few spots open) and Daiwa Pacific departs on an overnight at 9 PM – both to target Bluefin Tuna and Yellowtail.

Tackle recommended for these offshore trips remains the same:
- 80-100 lb rod/reel set-up, 40-50 lb rod/reel set up – Make sure your line is fresh and your hardware has been recently maintained! (Lighter set-ups will work for Yellowtail, but they aren’t so finicky that a 40-50 lb outfit won’t work.)
- Size 1/o and 2/o hooks (j or circle)
- leader material (best practice- match leader weight to back line weight)
- 250 – 300 gram flat fall jigs.

The Sea Adventure 80 returned from it’s 1.5 day trip with a good whack on the Bluefin tuna! Their 28 passengers caught 24 from 50-85 lbs while hooking another 20 cows! The Cows were hooked on 40 and 50 lb and proceeded to prove that having 80 to 100 lb gear on these trips can make a difference! None of the giant ones made 
it aboard! Don’t forget the big gear, and remember H & M Landing does have the big gear available for rental!
Our next couple of Bluefin trips depart Monday! The Constitution departs at 11 AM for a 1-3/4 day and the Old Glory departs at 7 PM for a 1-1/2 day trip! Both boats have lots of room!

The Poseidon, and Top Gun 80 are running for the Tuna and Yellowtail departing Monday with lots of room, both boats are definitetly running for sure! BOOK NOW! The two things to remember about Bluefin tuna are what happened yesterday has nothing to do with what happens tomorrow, and you can’t catch them at home! Come join the excitement!
It sounds like the boats are seeing spots of Bluefin today, and they are acting like springtime Bluefin. However, the Old Glory made good use of their time by pulling in 109 yellowtail!
The Legend returned this morning with 56 Yellowtail and 1 Mako from a 1-1/2 day trip!
The Constitution returned with 2 Yellowtail and 4 Bluefin tuna ranging from 40-70lbs!

The Sea Adventure 80 is reporting excellent conditions with 6 Bluefin on the boat 60-80 lbs with more hanging! Lots more under the boat!
The Grande has 12+ Bluefin so far & will call in a final count later!

Relentless and Poseidon returned this morning with 17 Bluefin Tuna total combined catch. Not a whole lot of fish caught, but each catch was a whole lot of fish weighing in from 50 lbs up to 150 lbs.
Grande departed this morning for Full Day Fishing Offshore. First report from Captain Alec at 12:20 PM: 3 Bluefin on deck (50-80 lbs), 3 Bluefin hanging. and we quote “Bluefin all over! They’re big and they’re hungry. I gotta go!”
