It’s a uniquely American experience—one that reminds us how fortunate we are to enjoy these incredible public waters and the traditions they’ve inspired for generations.
Summer is officially here, and the offshore fishing season is heating up. Whether you’re chasing bluefin tuna, targeting yellowtail and dorado, or introducing a child or grandchild to their very first fishing trip, there has never been a better time to get out on the water.
Not every trip hits limits. Not every school wants to bite. But the fish are here, and the boats that stay on them are putting together some incredible trips.

This past week we’ve seen everything from steady overnight scores to full limits on multi-day trips. Add in yellowtail and dorado showing offshore, and there’s a reason the docks are getting busy. If you’ve been checking fish counts every morning…You already know.
